Come out to Castaic Lake for a day of enjoyment with your dogs, family, and friends. Experience a 5K race, a dog talent show featuring tricks and fashion, and participate in a dog and human look-alike contest. Dogs can enjoy a swim in the lake, try agility activities, and more. Local rescues will also have dogs available for adoption. For kids, there will be a bounce house, face painting, crafts, and more. Enjoy free giveaways, food trucks, demos, and much more!

This marks our second consecutive year organizing the Bark in the Park event, and after the tremendous success of the previous year, we are thrilled to announce its return. Question: Do I have to register?
Answer: Yes, registration is required to participate

Question: Does my dog have to be on a leash?
Answer: Yes, at all times. Some exceptions for swimming and talent show only.
Question: Do I have to pick up my dog's poop?
Answer: Yes, it is the law!
Question: How much does it cost?
Answer: The event itself is FREE, however, lake entry fees apply and food trucks are self-pay.
Question: Are all ages allowed?
Answer: Yes, but minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Question: Where is the event?
Answer: Castaic Lower Lake (lagoon) near parking lots 7,8 & 9. The entrance is off Castaic Lake Drive. (See Map)
